For providing financial assistance to the well-qualified international students, the Chinese Government Scholarship-Chinese University Program is introduced.

Eligibility Criteria

The applicant must have seen the following eligibility criteria:

• The applicants must be an international student.
• The applicants must have expertise in the language in which their planned degree program is taught. This ranges from one curriculum to another and from college to university.
• The applicants must be non-Chinese and stable.
• The applicants who qualify for Bachelor’s programs must be under 30 years of age and have cleared their high school with flying colors.

  Entry Requirements

  • Applicants must meet the general country/study curriculum entry requirement.
  • You must demonstrate English language skills and meet the general admission criteria following the country/curriculum in which you studied.
  • Applicants need to be in decent health. Master’s degree candidates must hold a Bachelor’s degree and be under 35 years of age. Doctoral degree holders must hold a Master’s degree and be under the age of 40.

  Visa Requirements

  Students may apply for a Tier 4 general visa after obtaining their Confirmation of Acceptance of Studies three months before the start of the full-time course (CAS). At the same time, for a ‘short-term student visa, those intending to study for a brief duration of about six months or less can apply.
