 Turkey Government Scholarship Program 2021 For International Students

Turkey Government Scholarship is introduced to lower the financial burden faced by the international students to study undergraduate, masters and doctoral programmes at Turkish universities.

Turkey has begun to encourage students from all over the world to access their universities. Studying in these universities will help you improve your skills, concepts, expertise and insight into the subject you want to be enrolled in. All of these things are very useful when one steps on with their careers.

Eligibility Criteria

Students must have to meet the following eligibility criteria:

• The student must be an international student.
• The age of the applicant is one of the stringent conditions to be taken into account.
• If you want to qualify for an undergraduate degree, you must not be born before January 1997.
• If you want to qualify for a Master’s degree, you must not be born before January 1988.

• Seventy per cent of the marks are mandatory for the application of the undergraduate programme.
• Seventy-five per cent of the marks are mandatory for the application of the Masters and PhD Programmes.
• Medical school programmes require 90%marks.
• If you are a citizen of Turkey or have previously been a citizen of Turkey, you cannot qualify for a program.
• Students studying in Turkey are not eligible for a scholarship.

The scholarships are open for studying bachelors, a masters and PhD degree program in the following fields:

• Advertisements
• Science
• Mathematics
• Communications
• Engineering
• Economics
• Environment
• Visual Studies
• Health
• Humanities
• Music
• Various

  Benefits of the Programs

  The scholarship will be awarded as follows:

  • No Accommodation Charge.
  • Free from Tuition fees.
  • Health Expense.
  • Travel Expenses.
  • 700 TL stipend per month for undergraduate studies.
  • Monthly Stipend – For Master’s – 950 TL per month & For PhD. – 1400 TL per month.

    Entry Requirements

    • Applicants must meet the general country/study curriculum entry requirement.
    • You must demonstrate English language skills and meet the general admission criteria following
    • the country/curriculum in which you studied.
    • Diploma Grade
    • The Last Term’s General Average Grades
    • University Entrance Exam Grade (if any)
    • High School Graduation Exam / Baccalaureate Grade (if any)
    • International Test Score (if any)
    • Any other academic certificates or (*) cumulative GPA

    Visa Requirements

    You will need to apply in person at your nearest Turkish embassy or consulate in your home country to get your student visa. You must have a student visa before you can reach Turkey. After you have arrived in Turkey, you will need to apply for a residency permit that will allow you to remain in Turkey for more than 90 days.
